Michigan Tech has partnered with young women in high school to present a series of Code Ninja Workshops for Middle School Girls. Through this program, middle school students from Houghton and Keweenaw county learn how to program computers. Students have learned programming concepts through MIT App Inventor and the Processing programming language. The topic of the next workshop will be learning to program by developing a 3D virtual environment for viewing in the Oculus Rift.
